I was trying a shot I saw in a magazine but didn't get the right angle for the city lights to shine off my car. But you kinda get the idea.. nice clear skyline view of POS, blimp in the air and my car... No flash used for an effect I wanted to try.. didn't quite work but turned out ok.

Without some lights (artficial lights) this shot it a bit tuff.. Like the effort... Suggestion for ya..

Go back and take the same shot pretty much.. But do two shots this time..

Do one like this - with this setting... Where the night lights are really nice and clear. Then using a tripod, open up for the longest exposure possible so that the car may be more visible. They both have to be the same exact angle. Then you can use the history brush in pshop and combine the two images.. the back and the front with the car. I guess you can consider this the pshop version with no lights. Then it would be a photo illustration.. But sweet all the same.

He could also shoot a couple more exposures and use HDR.
