so when u runnin round the track and u have your hand on the shifter thru the gears...how u gonna see what gear u in? Plus, this gismo requires u looking DOWN to see what gear u in Confused

so much for line-of-sight

It looks great for a car show but there is no line of sight since you will have your hand on the shifter. Cool but not useful!!

It retails in the US for $170 approx.

i wouldn't use it in my car.

i have used other manual vehicles, that after you let go of the selector, it returns to neutral, even though the gear is still engaged. and i wouldnt use it in them either, looking down to see what gear its in. [dm16]PFFT[/DM16]

dash mounted would be a better step. and at US$170. bess i leave it for automatic drivers to buy.
