Sebastien Loeb wins the Rally Mexico for Citroen, just under a minute up on Ford's Marcus Gronholm; Mikko Hirvonen completes the top three in the second BP-backed Focus, while Daniel Sordo and Chris Atkinson round out the top five...

Latest World Rally Championship standings.
Marcus Gronholm remains top in the 2007 FIA World Rally drivers' championship following the Rally Mexico, the fourth round in the championship.
Gronholm finished second in Leon to take his points tally to 32. Defending champion, Sebastien Loeb, who won the event, moves up from third to second and closes the gap to 4 points. Mikko Hirvonen drops to third, after finishing in the same place in Mexico.
In the Manufacturers' championship, BP Ford remain out front, although the Citroen Total WRT managed to close the gap, albeit by just 1 point. The Stobart M-Sport WRT and Subaru now tie for third.

To finish first, first you must finish. Citroen is a master of this.
If Petter did not have that freak occurrence, it would have been more interesting to see where SWRT with their new car stood in relation to Citroen. Next race perhaps.
It would be good to see Gronholm, Loeb and Solberg consistently battle throughout the year. If Hirvonen and Sordo can also find themselves in there, then all the better. Lets see if Atkinson can also put on the gloves and enter the fight. |

It is good that Citroen team is winning..As i do hope that this can send a message to Citroen especially PSA time to build a production rally car...The car has performed well not forgetting the driver with his skills.. |

You say this like it is only happening this year. The most winningest driver of races in WRC has won all his races with Citroen. |
