The highlight of the day was the "helicopter" crash with Gerard Carrington (#18 ) climbing atop Denzil Nedd (#27) and spinning out of control in mid-air!!! A closer look reveals Sherrif (#7) behind the pair taking the far outside to avoid the crash and newcomer Prentice Ali (#26) also driving around the mele� in the inside.

Yeah he got up and walked to the ambulance, he was advised to do an X-ray for safety although he was not experiencing any serious pain. It seems this is a regular corner for climb-ups due to drivers pushing for the inside and this particular incident ended with both drivers shaking hands.

Gary Hunt and John Tannous also had a toss up which resulted in Tannous being unable to continue due to Kart damage and Gray being suspended pending further action. Gary has apparently decided to quit racing and re-join TTKA's organisational structure to handle competition and allow Gordon Rooks to make a return to the karting track.

The Ryans, R. Garcia and R. Peyrau were both out of the running today due to work related commitments and responsibilities. Ryan Garcia's new service station is apparently on-stream� look for a feature soon! Ryan Peyrau is in Tobago flying the Suzuki flag at a company promotion there.

The "Rotax Pack" i.e. David Coelho (#50), Ravi Singh (#75), Shahinder Singh (#16) and Marc Gill (#8 ) kept the adrenaline pumping in the Rotax International Class. Rotax racing looks like the place to be with Gary Hunt retiring from shifter racing which de-constitutes the class. Some drivers plan to convert their shifter karts to Rotax.

In the reversed grid Rotax pre-final, Luke Bhola (#155) showed much improvement as he led the rotax pack for much of the race.

Mid pack, Marc Gill ran down and passed Gerard Carrington and Denzil Nedd. Gerard tried to follow and went skyward as his bid to take the inside went all wrong.

After Gerrard Carrington and Denzil Nedd had their excercise in kart-robatics in the Rotax Masters class the race was stopped and the running order preserved for the restart where Bhola was running 2nd, followed by Ravi Singh.

Excellent driving from Brandon "Sponge Bob" Steele prompted suggestions that he should be bumped up to the Rotax International Class, despite his detuned Rotax Juniors kart setup as he posed to be a challenge for David Coelho throughout the race. In the end, the rotax pack broke through and Shahinder Singh (#16) took the checkered flag for Rotax International while Shamu "Sherrif" Mohammed took the win in Rotax Masters.
