Racing news

Ok people, lots of racing action going on worldwide..I am looking for anyone who wants to assist in posting these areas of motorsports.

Here is the list as follows:

F1
ALMS
LE MANS24 - I handle this one.
WRC
MOTOGP - I see Rory is in this area.
JTCC
NASCAR

I know there is more please indicate any other areas omited.

The purpose of this thread is to get anyone involved in above topics and to have meaningful discussions..What i am looking for is to build an informaion base where any user can get up to date information here.

If you accept you need to keep your topic up to date daily and with a reliable source of information..It does not matter what time of the day you post, just do your part please.

When i mean up to date nothing older than 2 days..Perhaps we can discuss this..This only applies to Racing news...

The perks is what..Admin, what you think a nice rank name if they are doing a good job? Any suggestions?

If you do accept pictures, information and web source link is needed..You can post one thread and build on it or post more than one thread..See relevant sections of this forum how its being done..

In respect about picture size keep it nothing larger than 640 x 480..Keeping in mind for dial up users..

If interested just reply what area you want.. Cool

Personally, I don't mind helping out in F1, WRC, MotoGP, WSBK and NASCAR. I will try to help out for a couple of weeks before I commit myself, let's call it a probationary period.

Plex-Kenobi, how exactly do you see this working. Not everyday there is something worthwhile posting. Do you just post for posting sake because you made a commitment? In such instances, could the person start a new thread requesting discussion of a topic?

If the Mods find my performance (no pun intended) is satisfactory and does not need turboing or NOS (pun intended Very Happy

) and I think its not taking too much out of my time to CONSISTENTLY post QUALITY articles, then I don't mind commiting myself to it.

What I find requires improvement in the motorsports forums is that we should at least try to get going or encourage a constructive discussion based on the posts. You see lots of people viewing the post, but not many people commenting on it. Yes, I know that this can't be done for everything, but it would make the posts more interesting and informative.

My TT$0.02.

I think we can go for breaking news & other issues worth discussing. It is up to the user if he or she wants to keep posting regular..I agreed we have so many posts just viewed but not much responses, but what i think is important is that it is being read and users are coming here to get their information.I believe is just a matter of time we get more users.

The part with people performance of posting; i wanted to get users involved and rest assure no one is not judged here, you all welcome here. Cool

If this cannot work, just let everyone post what he or she likes...I thought of just trying something new here thats all..
