Spain's double Formula 1 world champion Fernando Alonso married Spanish singer Raquel del Rosario in November, Spanish media reported.

The couple wed on 17 November in the town of Limanes in northwestern Spain near Alonso's hometown of Oviedo, national radio and television said citing a report in regional newspaper La Nueva Espana.

Alonso and Rosario, who belongs to the band "El Sueno de Morfeo", reportedly met in June 2005 when the two took part in a radio programme in Madrid.

At the end of November Spanish media said the two, who are both 25, had married in the Maldives islands in the Indian Ocean but the reigning Formula 1 champion's agent denied the reports.

Stalkers?? Must be bad enough for him being a 2 time world champion, but for his wife to have to suffer through the paperazzi et al. hounding her if they could not get to him.

Thats true...The paperazzi will report anything..Even if they get a dust under her shoes..
