Jerez MotoGP test times - Friday.
Full times from Friday's wet opening day of the final official MotoGP pre-season test, held at Jerez in Spain, and attended by the full line-up of 2007 teams.
The only rider absent was, as expected, the injured John Hopkins - Hopper is present at Jerez to support Rizla Suzuki, but is not expected to ride on any of the three days as he concentrates on being as fit as possible for the opening grand prix of the 2007 season, to be held at Qatar on March 10.
Sunday's third and final day of testing will include the now traditional 40-minute 'qualifying' style shoot-out, again with a new BMW car for the fastest rider.

Not really. Yesterday Rossi won the qualifying shootout and the prize of a BMW car.
Qualifying Shootout
1) Rossi - Yamaha
2) Pedrosa - Repsol Honda
3) Edwards - Yamaha
4) Hayden - Repsol Honda
Yamaha are talking "big" about how the best rider did not win the championship last year and that they are out for revenge this year. If they do not "walk the talk", Pedrosa from Repsol Honda might win it from under their noses. Pedrosa is so small and light that down the straights, his top speed is usually the highest of all the riders. I think that the 800 cc bike is best suited to his small frame. |

monkey always have something up he sleeve is pedrosa who better go and pray 'cause valentino comin' back with full force to reclaim that which belongs to him and him only !
besides, me and mr. K. praying even harder !
if monkey and yamaha are not going to win [and kummmee says monkey will win! and come from d back and do his usual MAGIC of passin' dem fellas and leaving dem to cry amidst d dust that d yamaha will be blowing up ! ] then ducati had better win ! |
