Wear yuh Seatbelts!

Ive seen hundreds of crashed vehicles and boy seatbelts really do work, ppl think *yea man my car has airbags* but airbags without u wearing your seatbelt is a waste.

^ ^ ^ ^ richie ent in some cars the airbag won't deploy unless yuh wearing yuh seat belt ????????????? or there is a light telling you that ur seat belt isn't on.

because your car has airbags does not mean that you dont need seatbelts.
on the contrary, an airbag deployment without wearing your seatbelt can cause even greater injuries.
the air bag was developed as a suppliment to seat belts and not as a replacement.

yep,
thats why they are referred to as "SRS Airbag", SRS meaning Secondary Restraint System........the seatbelt is still your ESSENTIAL primary restraint.........as RD said, w/o you seatbelt, you can receive serious injuries or even die if you fly forward and hit a deploying airbag!!!!!

I could remember when airbags were newly introduced there were some reports of kids being decapitated when the airbags were deployed. Of course they were'nt restrained in the first place. Its ironic that the very thing that should have saved your life just happened to kill you.

yes! Most ppl underesthe value of rear seatbelts, cuz the feel safe behind front seats.....but u can still be thrown about violently back there, worse in a side impact.....ppl laugh at me when I buckle up in the back seat......ignorance is not bliss, its deadly
