Already sent but the answer was that the software was in beta and can't do more Sad

BTW.. same damn thing with E6 version of Xede maps from ChipTorque.
Not going to bother with datalogging until first two are working properly.

At this rate I'll have to re-wire with the Evo 7 harness I bought, in order to use ECUFlash. Rolling Eyes
Then I'll be able to reflash and use Xede... I'll give them one more month first. Neutral

BTW in addition to EvoScan there's also Data Log Lab... Pricey but looks pretty good.
DLL works out of the box with data logs generated from the following ECUs:
Quote:
Apexi Power FC............Electromotive Tec-2 & Tec-3
GEMS EMS...................Hydra Nemesis 2.1
Innovate LM-1 & LM-3...Link & Link + Engine Management
Nissan OEM..................TurboXS UTEC
Xede............................Zeitronics ZT-1

With the addition of Data Log Lab's latest feature of Universal Data Log Loading,
ANY text-based data log can now be loaded by Data Log Lab.

This just in...

why dammit why.... does the EVO 7 Ecu differ that significantly?

It looks like a "work-around" reflash using an E6 ECU plugged into an E7 or E8 will not
work either. At this rate I definately have to use an E7 harness and E7 ECU in the E6. Rolling Eyes
I cannot afford $650+ US for ECUTech to reflash the E6 ECU.

$650.usd to reflash is nutz! I charge $350.00usd for the first custom flash and $100.00usd to re-flash your ecu when add mods.

$350.00usd / $100.00usd using ECUTech or ECUFlash?

BTW what datalogging software do you use?

UPDATE:
Cutting edge flashing/datalogging coming for Evos. New "plug-ins" allow seamless datalogging
of many "stand-alone" and "piggy-back" ECUs with LM1 and LC1 widebands and ECUFlash.

Innovate even sells a kit for simultaneous interface of their widebands and ECUFlash
Innovate wrote:
The OpenPort bundle includes an LC-1 wideband, the EcuFlash plugin for LogWorks,
and the required OBD2 interface cables to data log and reflash most WRX and Evo models.

Right now they are fixing bugs in ECUFlash "plug-in" installation program but a full version
update is coming. LogWorks3 may give EvoScan a serious run for its money.

I spent some time with the H8 kernel today... it turns out that my assembler has some bugs
and is generating incorrect opcodes for some instructions, which was causing the code to get
wonky in strange places. I hope to get something out to people next week to try out the reading,
and then do another release once the reflashing has been tested fully.

Looks like there's some hope for Evo 5 & 6 owners at last... Very Happy
