We have made some changes to handle posting of images larger than 640 pixels wide.
The image will load big, then resize to 640 pixels wide so that we have an easier time viewing them in the forum window.
Click on the image to see the full size version in a new browser window.

It is also advised that signature images should be kept to 640 pixels wide or less.

Also, since the forum resizes images after they are loaded the images will take just as long to load as before.

Most of my posting of images cannot be click for viewing..But at least the source link is there. Future images, i will ensure of this..  |

Some users use the imageshack code to post thumbnail images that are clickable (like Yeo...)
You can post the links to the images as well
but
now you can use the image (img) tags to post larger images, of course bearing in mind that you may need to warn users in the topic that large files are inside e.g. 56k unfriendly, DSL only etc. etc.

That's really strange because the code modifications simply use 640 pixels as the resize limit... Anyone else having problems? WR I take it that it worked fine before right?

I just switched to Firefox 1.5.0.8 Mac version and it works just fine... any luck with yours?

when i first open the thread, the pics are at the correct sieze, then they suddenly drop to that resolution of 28*19. each refresh, opens to correct size, then back to 28*19.
yeah viewing was fine before.

ok changes have been un-done as the small image problem is still persisting. I have also saved the modifications to try again at another time.
