well this unit is at least 3" thick but it fit perfect all i had to do was custom make bends as the hoses would not fit...i used piping at the bottom instead of a hose....but at the top all hoses worked fine. |

Actually this looks like a better fit (height wise) might be a bit long though ... I'll have to get a ruler under the hood. It's a bit more expensive ... but it's dual row ... whatever that means! |

when you switch off the engine the water stops circulating but the engine is still hot. In fact the engine temperature will rise before it cools down. this obviously not good for your engine and in some cases it will boil the water in the radiator causing it to vent through the cap and it can even boil the fuel in the fuel rail.
By allowing the fans to come when the vehicle is switched off the engine can then be cooled by the circulation of the water. As the water in the radiator cools it will move to the bottom of the radiator this will then allow hot water from the engine to flow in at the top. This flow of water will circulate through the engine and cool it gradually. _________________ Livng life one day at a time

Happens when the car is driven hard or on a hot day, has to cross a certain temperature for the fans to remain on. |

this sounding like Imraj muffler shop. seems to generate some mixed reviews. _________________ PROUD MEMBER OF D WAGON BOYZ @ DEX
