She running good I'd say. I'm expecting 15.3-15.6s in the quarter and around 125whp. We also need to have it weighed, preferably on a corner weight scale system� she runs light and fast. The Kumhos are 50 treadwear tires! For what is it this car runs well. It's a wicked time attack project...

really nice to see some 'old school' mods, ir 3-angle valve job and skimmed head.....I thought the bolt-on generation were lost on these things Exclamation

^judging from other tuned d15 dynos it seems the head work gave me more mid range torque.

if you have a spare head to play with, u can try some porting as well, to improve breathing.......but u definitely on the right track, cuz the midrange torque is what allows u to power out of the bends at dex....in a class where everyone has straightline speed, corner exit speed gives you an edge....(as well as the ability to brake late)

good point , however , isn't it true that the stock d series heads have already good flow potential , as well as porting a head on a stock cam shaft does'nt produce the goods and would an adjustable cam gear . in a sense you'd have a bit more flow on stock valve timing , which may not yeild as much .
