i think you need to be a bit more descriptive...open the bonnet when on idle...rev the engine from inside the engine bay & listen for sound so you can isolate the general location...it could be as simple as a pulley or belt....but you need to give more info so we can help

i would suggest new pulley....sheldon by curtis can do this for you....it makes no sense to re-tension it as this would only last for about 2 weeks then the noise returns.....

Yeah fellas,

Well I went up by Sheldon and he check it for me but as usual we did not hear the noise so he told me to rub some compound on the belt because I got an engine wash recently and he said that water could be the culprit, so I did that but I still getting the noise. Some one really told me about re-tensioning the belt but you all suggest a new pulley?? How much will that cost??? I already have to get my head replaced and that costing me $3,500.00!!!!!

u will have to call City Motors for that price...but the engine wash is the culprit...using the polish compound works for all of 1 hour maybe if u lucky...change the pulley & the belt at the same time...no easy way out here....better safe than sorry.

In the end if that belt or pulley were to get loose in the engine it could probably cost you more than you originally would have spent.
