yeh folks...yuh boi here rollin in an EE80 Corolla hatch...
that is, e-series chassis (just like the AE80) BUT e-series motor (just like the Tercel and Starlet)
now the plan later on is to slap in a 4E-FTE but since thas a while comin and mih lil 3spd slippin bad bad bad, I'm thinking to search for a 5sp Tercel gearbox one time
now I have a some questions comcerning this
1. is it really compatible with the 4E-FTE? (as in, after the manual conversion, I only hafta look for engine ECU and harness)
2. how difficult is it to find said gearbox? (cuz all de manual Tercels I seeing here are 4sp)
3. is the clutch cable or hydraulic?
4. will my auto axles work in the manual tranny?
any help will be appreciated _________________

Hook, are you sure that it's for an E block engine? My EE80 Corolla (as written on the chasis) has a 2A engine installed. That's how it was bought from Amar, who were the dealers at the time. |
