Ok a little progress ....

I managed to borrow a 2.0 ECU ... amazing she's running sweet. Now I need to source an ECU for the 2.0 8v or get my ECU reprogrammed.

Would Curtis have an ECU knocking ...

Just to confirm the 1.8 and 2.0 run different programs? Talked to guy who did a similar conversion on a 406, he didn't have any iss ...

Just got an email from a company called Elecauto out of Argentina. The guy said I should send him my ECU # and he'd email me the software to program the 1.8 ECU to run the 2.0. ...

I'm back,

Talk about a slight delay .... it's been almost a year ... finally got the new engine in but things aint so cool.

Unfortunately the car just isn�t running well. The idle is very rough ...

Actually this looks like a better fit (height wise) might be a bit long though ... I'll have to get a ruler under the hood. It's a bit more expensive ... but it's dual row ... whatever that means!

Well it's the bitron that's acting up. Unfortunately the local dealer doesn't have any in stock .... mechanic was suppose to go to Martinique yesterday ..... I hope he got one while he was there.

I've been driving without AC for the last few days and the car now bounces between 90�C and 94�C .... a relief but slightly uncomfortable at this time of year! Oh and stil ...
