As I write this it’s eleven minutes past nine and I can’t help but smile. For as long as I can remember, the Porsche 911 has been on every car enthusiast’s radar. It became an icon of the modern world because for decades, it defined the Porsche brand and in many ways was the archetype of the term sports car. Lifestyle Motors unveiled the eighth generation Porsche 911 (992) at a well-attended launch event at their Barataria showroom in Trinidad & Tobago.
Massy Motors, agents for Nissan, launched their new NP300 Frontier X-Gear model, inviting the media and customers to enjoy the new 360-degree experience– an off-road course created on location at Massy’s Morvant branch. The X-Gear treatment consists of a specifications list that goes beyond the fully loaded specification, with interior and exterior factory customisation and technology upgrades. The new look is bolder, more aggressive and more stylish than ever before, bringing more attitude to the Frontier lineup.
Lifestyle Motors invited the media to a viewing of the worldwide live-stream of the first-ever all-electric vehicle (EV) from the engineers at Porsche. The live viewing took place at the rather VIP Gemstone theatres at One Woodbrook Place. Specially invited guests in Trinidad saw the unveiling as it happened simultaneously across the globe. Unfortunately we won’t get to actually see or sit in the car until 2020.
At first glance you may not realise that the Evoque has been reinterpreted, with its sibling, the new Velar in mind. But a few seconds later you’ll notice the smoother lines, tidier front fascia and the hideaway door handles. Inside you’ll also see major updates with a larger touchscreens, updated technology and well-integrated controls. Fans of the Evoque will be happy to know that as a compact, premium SUV, its size remains almost the same but its capabilities have become even better! ANSA Motors unveiled the new Range Rover Evoque at its Chaguanas showroom facility recently and the crowd simply loved it.
